1- Disconnect power and antenna.
2- Remove the bottom case.
3- Locate the controll unit on the bottom of the radio. This is the same board the TU-7 and MU-2 are mounted on.
4- Cut diodes D8 and D11 and D12 (The are located left of the IC-3).
5- Reassemble the radio.
6- Reset the CPU. (Press and hold the [PS] key while turning power ON).

ADJUSTMENT:
VR-4 Low power level
VR-1 DTMF level
VR-7 Mic gain
